Hello there, me again….

Well I have just finished editing a lovely “Baby on the Way” Maternity shoot that I did for a gorgeous couple on Sunday afternoon.

Brad and Sherelle were wedding clients of mine nearly 2 years ago where I had the pleasure of travelling out to Stanthorpe to capture their very special day, so as they are having their first little bubby and wanted me to capture another very special time in their lives, they travelled to the Tweed Coast for the weekend and asked me to take their maternity photos for them, which of course I was delighted to do and felt thrilled to be part of their lives once again for such a special occasion.

Waiting for a new baby is so very special and as Mummy’s belly gets bigger and bigger as each month passes by, so does the couple’s joy and excitement for the pending due date to arrive… It is so very exciting for all concerned…

Maternity Sessions are perfect if captured around the 35th to 39th week when the tummy is nice and round and mum is glowing with excitement.  A Maternity Session is the perfect start to your Baby’s Photo Album, documenting not only their life after they are born but also showing them where they came from and how much their parent’s loved them before they came into the world… special memories that you and your child will cherish forever…

Teenagers have favourite things too, it doesn’t just have to be for the little ones in the family and at Tots and Bots  we capture everyone one of any age.

Brittney is your typical teenage girl who enjoys filling her room with special things that mean allot to her.

Shoes are a big deal for Brittney and featured in her session, although she had too many to photograph in the one image, so she chose a few of her favourite pairs.

Coffee, clothes, her laptop, magazines, her little dog, perfume, pillows, stationery items and Kiki Dolls are highlights in her life and it was lovely to chat to her about what makes her feel at home and comfortable in her own surroundings.

I created two different coloured storyboards for Brittney as there are two colour themes with her photos… I love the way the images co-ordinate with eachother to create two completely different looks.

How exciting it is to be a child?  I just love visiting a child and seeing what is special to them.

They look at life in such a different way to us as adults and see the simplicity and delight in the smallest of things… Oh the innocence

Well I have had the pleasure this week to capture a lovely little girl and all of her favourite things, to talk to her and see what is special to her was a real treat.

As you will see from her images, she just loves the colour PINK and her room and nearly everything in it was some shade of pink, it was very cute to see.

I asked Courtney what were her special little things, things that made her smile and feel nice, she had 3 favourite dolls which I took photos of with her, 3 favourite little toy dogs and then her new special Notebook computer that she received for her birthday, and of course it too was pink…

Well on Sunday I had the great thrill of capturing a very special little girls 3rd Birthday Party, here on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

To make it extra special, her very clever mummy designed and created a wonderful “Willy Wonka” party including a very special Candy Shoppe and loads of very clever games incorporating lots of characters from the movie… a children’s dream party really, sugar and lollies galore and not a clean face to be seen at the end of the day… chocolate, chocolate and even more chocolate… yummy
